Intent

A competition entry imagining a new gathering space along the False Creek seawall. The design draws from traditional Coast Salish architecture while using contemporary mass timber techniques to create a sheltered yet open space for community events and quiet reflection.

My Role

  • Developed concept and formal language
  • Explored structural options through physical and digital models
  • Created competition boards and presentation narrative
  • Researched Indigenous architectural traditions

Outcome
